advanced directives for dreamers

when planning end of life and disease process care, the time is always to talk to your loved ones. and it’s always time to talk to yourself. now is always the best time and always is now. i work as a registered nurse working in acute care and hospice. i’m also an end of life grief and death-ways worker, providing doula care for the ill and their family systems. let us together de-code all the medical jargon, ask all the hard questions that serve as road blocks, and increase our knowledge together about how to prepare for illness and the end of life, before the moment of crisis. we will go over important forms to have on file at all times to be empowered, informed and to think through together what our desires are for our precious bodies.

I love sharing about the intersections of my work as a choreographer/dancer, healer/guide and nurse. it is a pleasure to continue to gather together for somatic writing and attunement, or join universities, museums and galleries to discuss my work in the intersections of performance, nursing, bodywork and ceremony.
